winter 23/24: Highlighted Positions
heavy equipment operator
The Snow Cat Operator is responsible for grooming of the Slopes at Dodge Ridge to provide the best Skiing/snowboarding surface possible for our guests under the direction of the Slope Grooming Manager. This Position is a key and important member of the Dodge Ridge team. This position typically works the night shift and requires an extremely detail oriented, experienced, safety conscious and responsible candidate.
Salary Range $18.00 to $25.00 Hourly
retail supervisor
The Sport Shop Supervisor directly supervises the operations of the Dodge Ridge Sport Shop. Â The position is responsible for ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests which is well-organized, efficient, and staffed with a well-trained and guest-friendly team. Â This position must maintain secure cash handling practices, and staff training guidelines and adhere to the department budget. This position is responsible for the administrative aspects of the Sport Shop. This position is a KEY member of the Dodge Ridge Team.
Salary Range $19.25 to $22.00 Hourly
lift operations assistant managerÂ
Lift Operations is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service on the mountain. Lift Operations Assistant Manager will assist the Lift Operations Manager in the supervision of all Lift Operators and the daily operations of the department. You will be expected to run and maintain the Lift operations department when the manager has days off. Lift Operators maintain lift stations, assist guests onto carriers. Lift operators are hosts and information centers.Â
Salary Range $20.25 to $23.00 Hourly

Will I be working on holidays and weekends? Can I travel?
Holidays and weekends are our busiest times of the season. We expect our employees to be available to work during those times. We do, however, experience slower periods in which it would be a great time to take time off and especially enjoy your pass!
Do I receive a free season pass?
Yes! As an employee you receive a free employee pass to ski and board with as well as a ticketing program with discounts for friends and family.
Do you provide Employee Housing?
Dodge Ridge does not provide employee housing at this time. There are, however, plenty of available housing options in the area. Please contact Human Resources at HR@DodgeRidge.com for recommendations on where to look.
Do you provide Employee transportation?
Dodge Ridge partners with the Tuolumne County Ski Bus. This bus runs on weekends and most holidays. Employees that are scheduled to work that day may be reimbursed for their ride to work! We also have a carpool app called Pave, that helps link employees to find rides to work and get rewarded for carpooling.
How old do I have to be to work there?
Some positions that have specific age requirements, however we are able to hiring applicants 14+. Work permits are required for students under the age of 18 and work hours are limited by law.
What is the grooming/appearance policy?
As an employee of Dodge Ridge your appearance reflects on our entire team. Creating thoughtful and meaningful interactions is what we are all about which is why it is important for our staff to have a clean and neat appearance. We want our guests to be able to easily identify you as Dodge Ridge employees.
How often is pay day?
A pay period consists of two consecutive workweeks. A work week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. Employees are paid every other Friday for work performed during the previous pay period.
